Crazy about History - 2

I am still crazy about history. I regret now why I had not taken history as my subject.

There is something in past that fascinates me. Might be the different stories afloat or the mysteries surrounding the people of that time, there is something that is there.

when I came to know about Indian History in brief, and some little info later, I felt that there were a lot of missing links. Glad that I was right. What ever we read about India in books is very little, not even .1% of its great history.

Where in the history books is it mentioned about the visit of St.Thomas, one of the Apostles of Jesus, to India? Where are we getting info about the origin of Christianity, the famous Syrian Christians, St.Thomas Christians?

Have anyone read about the landing of Jews in Kerala and the details of the one of the Oldest Synagougues in the world present at Fort Cochin?

What about the history of Nagas who were the original inhabitants of Srilanka, and Southern Most part of India? How come we are seeing them only in Nagaland now?

These are some of the few points that I came across over internet.

Thanks to Internet and people intrested in sharing their knowledge, I am learing a lot

The legacy of different kingdoms and kings, their work for the society, the architectural marvels, the fights , all these are a wonder for me.

Veer Savarkar, is one of the intriguing personalities for me and here is a link to his life history...
