The seer and the object seen are like the rope and the snake. Just as the knowledge of the rope which is the substrate will not arise unless the false knowledge of the illusory serpent goes, so the realization of the Self which is the substrate will not be gained unless the belief that the world is real is removed.
7. When will the world which is the object seen be removed?
When the mind, which is the cause of all cognition's and of all actions, becomes quiescent, the world will disappear. "

The gross body which is composed of the seven humours (dhatus), I am not; the five cognitive sense organs, viz. the senses of hearing, touch, sight, taste, and smell, which apprehend their respective objects, viz. sound, touch, colour, taste, and odour, I am not; the five cognitive sense-organs, viz. the organs of speech, locomotion, grasping, excretion, and procreation, which have as their respective functions speaking, moving, grasping, excreting, and enjoying, I am not; the five vital airs, prana, etc., which perform respectively the five functions of in-breathing, etc., I am not; even the mind which thinks, I am not; the nescience too, which is endowed only with the residual impressions of objects, and in which there are no objects and no functioning's, I am not. SDLC of a Project
Normally, one would speak of system analysis, REquirement Gathering, SRS, development, testing, delivery, maintenance.
After being through a project for complete SDLC, I feel otherwise. Its only two, nope, three phases. Hectic work, Medium Hectic, Normal pace. A Project Manager and Leader, along with the functional consultant would be either in the Hectic or Medium Hectic Phases, all through the project duration. Developers would be in hectic situation just before releases and QA would be under hectic work during the first few releases. Else, it would be normal or Medium Hectic.
We start a project with an estimation, we get CR's, we change the estimation, then, the so called final release happens, and then, UAt, then, starts the series of CR's, and from here, every release is a final release till we actually end it. And this I notice is same with many projects held across different companies.
Any one differs????

Dear Terrorist...
Dear Terrorist,
Even if you are not reading this we don't care. Time and again you tried to disturb us and disrupt our life - killing innocent civilians by planting bombs in trains, buses and cars. You have tried hard to bring death and destruction, cause panic and fear and create communal disharmony but everytime you were disgustingly unsuccessful. Do you know how we pass our life in Mumbai? How much it takes for us to earn that single rupee? If you wanted to give us a shock then we are sorry to say that you failed miserably in your ulterior motives. Better look elsewere, not here.
We are not Hindus and Muslims or Gujaratis and Marathis or Punjabis and Bengaliies. Nor do we distinguish ourselves as owners or workers, govt.
employees or private employees. WE ARE MUMBAIKERS (Bombay-ites, if you like). We will not allow you to disrupt our life like this. On the last few occassions when you struck (including the 7 deadly blasts in a single day killing over 250 people and injuring 500+ in 1993), we went to work next day in full strength. This time we cleared everything within a few hours and were back to normal - the vendors placing their next order, businessmen finalizing the next deals and the office workers rushing to catch the next train. (Yes the same train you targetted)
Fathom this: Within 3 hours of the blasts, long queues of blood donating volunteers were seen outside various hospital, where most of the injured were admitted. By 12 midnight, the hospital had to issue a notification that blood banks were full and they didn't require any more blood. The next day, attendance at schools and office was close to 100%, trains & buses were packed to the brim, the crowds were back.
The city has simply dusted itself off and moved one - perhaps with greater vigour.
We are Mumbaikers and we live like brothers in times like this. So, do not dare to threaten us with your crackers. The spirit of Mumbai is very strong and can not be harmed.
Please forward this to others. U never know, by chance it may come to hands of a terrorist anywhere in the world and he can then read this message which is specially meant for him!!!

The above is true for the spirit of India, no matter what, we Indians keep on moving and try to move the world. Remember Atlas Shrugged? If Indians all over the world stop working, for a single week day, the effect can be felt far off...
And when it comes to working, any working class, across the world, if it stops working, the world would stop moving and we would be going back. Looks like its time for like minded people of the world come together and bring about a revolution, as envisaged by Ayn Rand in ATLAS Shruggged. It applies to the whole world, not just any country.

Mumbai Blasts
One more set of Blasts in Mumbai... Whos work is it now? Religious fundamentalists or powers intrested in seeing loss for Mumbai?
Time would tell, thats what we used to say earlier. Now, even time cannot tell, cos, the next minute, no one knows what happens. Evidences might get erased, witnesses might disappear, stories would be woven and events can get distorted. Thanks to the Media Hype, everyone knows whats happening, and even the powers that create these havocs. And this helps them to stay on Alert.
Breaking news, this is what its termed as and this causes harm many times. Dont you think so????
