Some of those who read this might have wondered why the change suddenly?
Let me explain.
Long long ago, more than half a centuary back, this happened, before my Dad was born. I learnt it from my Grandma.
Grandpa (Dad's Father) used to work for South India Insurance and was one of the high middle class persons of that time. He used to maintain a car itseems. Before the birth of Dad, he had happened to go on a trip to Arunachalam, where Ramana Maharshi stays, along with his entourage. On the way up the hill, the car met with an accident and started rolling down. It got stopped in midst due to a small rock and all the lives were saved. Here, in our native place, a lady who sees the future came to our house itseems and told about it to my Grandma itseems. Grandma was pregnant itseems and she had also told that a boy will be born and he has to be named after Lord Venkata Ramana or Balaji of Tirupathi. When Grandpa came home, Granny questioned him and confirmed that the news is true. Well, it was a boy and he was named Venkata Ramana. It is my Dad :-) I am not sure as to after whome Grandpa named my DAD, Lord or Ramana Maharshi.
Later in the years, 12 years back, Dad was suffering with Piles and once it was so critical that a doctor had operated on him and damaged the rectum. We did not understand what was the issue, but Dad's health was failing everyday. Thanks to Dr.avva Satyamurthy of Machilipatnam, we traced the specialist at Sri. Ramana Hospitals, Chennai, who saved my Dad's life, after two months at Hospital and 5 operations. Thanks to him Dad is safe and sound now. It was God's grace that we got right people at right time to save us. Well, again, here, we came across Ramana maharshi's photo, everyday, we used to see it.
After 12 years, I moved to chennai on work and now, I come across his photo everyday. Thats when I thought that there must have been some connection for us with him. He, the almighty alone knows the facts. I like the face with a gentle smile and feel peace on seeing the picture.
